Event Launch Guidelines

People often ask us to guide them in the entire end-to-end process of planning event launches. We give them tips and often we find ourselves surrounded with un-erased white boards full of complex planning maps. We try to help as much as possible through advice, consultation and even through our event marketing services. You can also follow posts on similar topics on Simon’s blogs, Event Line , Social media strategies and Event Launch Strategies.

The truth is, there is a dearth of step by step guidelines in the event marketing domain – and that leaves many business owners without any reliable sources of information. Events Listed has decided to guide you through the whole process with a blog dedicated entirely to this. You can use these guidelines as a checklist for your events.

What’s to come?

We’ve spread out the Event Launch Guidelines into 5 phases. Here’s what our road map is going to look like:

Phase 1: Event Feasibility, Analysis

Phase 2: Baseline Preparations

Phase 3: Event Promotion

Phase 4: Final Launch Preparations

Phase 5: Launching the event

In the next 5 posts we are going to give you a brief introduction about each phase so that you have an idea about what to expect from the content. You can send us any special questions or requests that you have and we will try to incorporate that into the guidelines as well. If you have good first-hand experience stories, it’ll be great if you can share them with us so that we can highlight them as case-studies in the Guidelines.

An important thing to note; whether you are in the event management business or not, these guidelines are meant to help any business owner, marketer or organizer align their strategies to make sure they can make the most out of their events or businesses by taking them online.

The content of each phase will take an average of 6 weeks to complete. We will share a checklist of the items at the commencement of each phase in the form of PDF files.
